The pic isnt coming up....that "extra thick" girdle bothers me a bit though....have you contacted any vendors and asked them for help to pick a stone? I thought that is where we were when we last talked to you...

What makes you think it's ideal cut? GIA doesn't issue out a general "ideal cut grade" as far as I know. Their highest cut grade is excellent, and they split it up into polish and symmetry.

Based on the specs you provided I think the diamond is very well cut. However if the jeweler said it's certified as ideal by GIA I'd be scratching my head.
