Hi, Tracy,

I have the U-113 with a 1.5 ct diamond, too! Do you by chance have idealscope images and pictures of the stone that you can post? That is a high HCA score and I think it may have to do with the crown angle being quite high. The price is good. I hope someone can tell you more if there are problems that will result from that HCA score, though.

Hi there,

Your ring looks amazing!! I want something like yours :)

Unfortunately I am not sure how to retrieve an ideal scope photo!!I am new at all this and if you could advise me how I can, I will be able to find them then post them to you to have a look?

Thanks, Tracy! You would have to ask the jeweler if they can take magnified images of the diamond and if they have an idealscope and can take images of that. Did you see the stone in person? Could you see that the arrows were symmetrical?

I am still waiting for the jeweler to send me an ideal scope image of the diamond ring. For the mean time I have found another ring which is 1.76 carats and is going for $21512 with an ideal scope image. Can you help me with this?

It looks too good to be true!

HCA- 2.1 (This I believe is fantastic because I understand anything less than 2 is a def giving maximum reflection).

The ideal scope image is attached to my username :)

What are your thoughts?

Could I get your email address because I can't seem to post the idealscope image up :(

Possibly the image size is too great?

Thanks for that help :)

I have attached the ideal scope image to my user profile for your feedback!

any thoughts please?

Tracy, I don't think I can access your stored images on your profile. The reason the price is good is because it has strong blue fluorescence. I am not afraid of that and actaully quite like it because I chose a diamond that has it! But, I had a vendor who looked at my stone in all kinds of light and confirmed for me that there were no negative effects. A small percentage of SBF stones can look cloudy in sunlight but most do not. It could be a great buy if the fluorescence is not a problem.

To load a picture or image on the thread, you just click on "upload attachment" below your reply box and click on the white box and "my pictures" should pop up on your screen. Select the picture you want, then click add the file. Click submit and the picture should be on your post. (Forum rules do not allow posting of personal email addresses.)

Let me know what your thoughts are for this 1.76 carat.

The 1.5 has a tiny bit of leakage but you may not be able to detect it with your eyes. The 1.7 actually looks better! That one is taken with an ASET scope. I'd probably go with the 1.7 D as long as they can look at it in different lighting and confirm that you can't see any haziness from the fluorescence.

1.7 looks good :)

The 1.76 looks good from the aset.

Thanks for your feedback guys :)

I am just curious to know as I am learning how to read the ASSET images and it says that anything "black" is not good. I see a lot of black on the image on the 1.76 carat. Can you explain to me why this is actually okay? Or is it dark blue that I am seeing and not black? which then makes it ok?

I think what you are seeing (in the arrows?) is dark blue, not black.

Agreed. That is all blue, not black.
