One of my friends is in the diamond hunting process now. I saw a beautiful F color 1.3, H&A with only 2 inclusions, feathers.
I need an expert opinion! I read online that large "feathers" in a diamond are to be avoided because the diamond could actually break at some point somehow. What determines a large feather? Do the two feathers in the picture count as large and is it to risky to purchase this diamond?

I''m not trying to be mean, but it''s quite hard to focus on what you''re saying sometimes because of your use of upper and lower case lettering.

I agree...this expert opinion is; I think you should try typing your posts while sitting still. Instead of riding the roller coaster. I am a tad sea sick...

Now stop that weird typing thing!! Don''t make me pull over...If I have to come back there...it won''t be pretty.

i''m not an expert so i''ll let one of them chime in on the feather issue, but do have to agree with DKS and addy that it would be very helpful and much easier to read if you could use lowercase letters

those feathers don''t touch the girdle right so enjoy the diamond and you''re gonna insure something that expensive anyway right, so it''s all good.

I like roller coasters, as a matter of fact "I was writing the post while riding a coast"

It all happened on a laptop; all-in-all still not the issue here.

C''mon I wrote the initial post nicely right? Sure did! So how bout'' them feathers man/mam? Will this diamond fly?

This diamond could be a real winner, to avoid any uncertainty with the feathers, I think I know what vendor it is from, ask him if the feathers are visible or could pose a durability risk.

I agree with Lorelei, best to just askt the vendor, they will be honest with you.
