I need advice on a Tacori setting

I have a 1.29 carat diamond. I want to reset the stone into a Tacori setting. The setting has two pear shaped fancy yellow stones weighing around .15 to .20 it looks like. Does anyone think that the pear shapes are too small for the center stone? I may want to upgrade later to a larger stone-perhaps a 1.5 or higher, will they be too small then? (Is there a rule that determines that the two side stones should be a certain size next to the center stone, or the ring may look awkward? )

Hi. I am in the same situation. I don't know how to find out what proportion the center stone (a marquise) should be to the side stones (pears). Can anyone out there help?
