I''m hoping someone can give me a fabulous suggestion... I love Harlan Coben. ''Tell No One'' is one of my faves and I''ve read all his books. Any other Harlan Coben lovers out there who can suggest another author I might like?

hmmm..John Sanford, Ed McBain, James Patterson, Richard North Patterson, Robert R. McCammon, Jonathan Kellerman. Have you read any of these guys?

The only book by Harlan Coben I have read so far was Tell No One, but from that book I gather that he writes in the suspense/adventure genre (which I read as well as legal thrillers). I have mentioned some of my favorite authors in other threads in The Library, but I will mention some again that I think might appeal to someone who likes Harlan Coben. (In other words, I'll skip some of the strictly legal and courtroom drama authors like Scott Turow!)

If you haven't already read them I would try Sheldon Siegel who writes about Rosie Fernandez and Mike Daley (two lawyers, one of whom was once a Roman Catholic priest); Lee Child (who writes about Jack Reacher, a remarkably self-sufficient former army officer who is 6'5" tall and never loses); Thomas Perry who writes both a series about a half-Indian guide, Jane Whitefield, who leads people out of danger but who knows ingenious ways to defend herself and who has blue eyes from her mother's side of the family and who writes wonderful other novels like The Butcher's Boy; David Baldacci, a legal writer who branched out and has written novels just about adventure like, The Camel Club about former expert killer (for the US government) Oliver Stone who lives in a caretaker's hut in a cemetary across from the White House; and Steve Martini. There are more :-).

Thanks so much for the suggestions- I''ll check those authors out! Both of your lists give me some great new options.

Pacrat- I''ve read some James Patterson, but that''s all off of your list.

I''d be interested in your feedback, both about authors I have mentioned (out of curiosity about someone else''s opinion of authors I like) and about those packrat has mentioned (so that I can see if any authors she recommends are also recommended by you).

I''ll post here when I''ve read something to let you know what I think...
