I''m looking at a loose diamond for an engagement ring. The specs are:
dimensions: 7.05x7.05 5.17mm
carat: 2.06
color: J
clarity: VS1
depth: 73.3%
table: 73
girdle: medium
culet: none
polish: excellent
symmetry: excellent
fluorescence: none
I haven''t seen the diamond. I only have a GIA report. I am curious to know if this is a good diamond. Will it face up white? Will it have a tint to it? Is it a good buy? I am planning on setting it in platinum and do you think its a good idea? Or should I go with a E, F, or G?
