I don''t know how I feel about carpaccio!! I''m not what you would call an adventurous eater. At the restaurant where my daughter is working as the pastry chef, they prepare a quail in a blood red sauce; they use cockscombs and duck tongues; and one can find the heads of various animals in the walk-in. Ack, ack, ack

Its funny how our brains go through all that reasoning in a flash (before we decide whether to eat or not).

Seriously, I think there is a flaw in the "raw steak" area of the algorithm. If I dropped a raw steak I would be
tempted to rinse it off in the sink, pat it dry, douse it with red wine, throw it on the grill and enjoy

. Hopefully
between the alcohol in the red wine and the heat from the grill it would kill anything on the outside.
