Actually, sevens...I see plenty...but they are on the shoulder of the grand central parkway if you know what I mean! Driving to work can be SO depressing! Poor buggers don''t even see it coming.

I came home to my apartment in DC Sunday night to a racoon going through some trash bags a neighbor was too lazy to put in the right place! My headlights flashed on him and he turned around as if to say, "What? You never seen a racoon before?" I was a little surprised to see him in such an urban area, but my country up-bringing didnt have me as freaked out as my b/f was! He immediatly started screaming RABIES!

A buddy in Austin woke up because his dogs were going ridico-crazy downstairs. He snagged a baseball bat and (with wife a-clutching his arm), went to investigate. 2 raccoons had entered through the pet door, TRASHED the kitchen and were 'treed' up in the living room drapes chittering at the dogs.

They put the dogs up (yeah, THAT was easy), and called animal services. It was 4AM and the on-call bored emergency phone answering animal guy told them that unless they were being bitten, mauled, hooved or gored it would have to wait until 8AM.

They went to bed. When they got up the little bandits were gone... Along with all the dish snacks from the coffee tables.
