I may buy some studs - how is this price?

Great site? I''m loving browsing it. My question....a local, very reputable pawn shop is going out of business. The owner has a pair of studs, total carat weight 1.45, SI2, K-L color, and is offering them at $3,200. I''m browsing the internet, but I still can''t tell if this is a good price. Setting is platinum. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for your help!

no, not a great price. you can easily get ''k'' color diamonds brand new for around that price. also, being that these are ''k-l'' colored makes me think that they are not graded by a major lab. unless you mean one was graded ''k'' and the other ''l''.
spend your money on a well cut diamond that has been properly graded. unless you''re just feeling generous towards your local pawn shop.

You know the pawn shop has room on them they probably got them for a song. Im sure they have no paperwork with them to certify they are what they are. Remember they are going out of business so there is no place to go back to and cry about something.

Do some looking around and compair this is not the deal of the century.

I would shy away from this deal. One, how do you actually know it is a diamond?

Two, vendor is going out of business, what if you have problems etc.?

Buy from a Pricescope vendor and then you will have piece of mind that you have a "REAL" QUALITY DIAMOND!! and proof that you have a real diamond
