Here are my save the dates (with our last names blacked out). They only ended up costing $10 (including shipping) for 100. I used the deal that VistaPrint has going on this weekend.
Thank you! We did the pictures with our digital camera a few hours ago. I just printed pieces of paper that said save the date for us to hold up. I think they might have this a lot, but I''m not sure. We don''t have a final count, but we know total we''re inviting about 150. We figure 100 should be plenty since many we''re inviting are couples or families of 4+.
Thank you! IrishAngel, FI got the shirt right after we got engaged at one of those shops at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle. They had a matching one in pink that I wanted, but FI said it was dumb for us to get the same shirt, so he got to get it since it was video game related.
Oh, I love it! Great job Robbie! It definitely made me smile and it''s so fun! And a good deal too! I''ve heard VistaPrint does run specials often so people that aren''t ready for it yet should check back often. My FI asked about ours last night so if I can get my act in gear this weekend maybe I can do this too.
Robbie, I LOVE your save the dates! They are adorable! Have you ever entertained the idea of renting one of those old-fashioned photo booths for your wedding? When I got married 3 years ago, we were dying to rent one of those, but unfortunately didn''t follow through with that detail. We wanted to do it so guests would have wedding favors. I looked them up after reading your post tonight, and from what I could tell in a short amount of time they were going for $70 per hour for 4 hours, with an attendant... Forgive me if I''m being rude here, but I would just love to see someone rent one of these and have a great time with it at their reception--I think it is SUCH a cool idea. I''ve never been to a wedding where the B&G have done this, but as a guest I would love it. In fact, if I could change anything about my wedding it would be to include this feature. Hope you don''t mind my barging in here and giving you this "advice!" I think your wedding will be beautiful--just from seeing your save the dates! Best wishes on the rest of your planning!
Monarch, my cousin did something similiar at his bar mitzvah years ago and it was a blast. They took your picture and then put your head on someone else''s body. I would love to have a photobooth, but our budget is kind of tight. It would have to depend on how much we can save on other stuff. Thanks for the advice, though! I had totally forgotten about that!
