The "why all the negitivity" thead got me thinking about how people like to "keep up with the Jones' " and that is this economy it can be really tough to do. Great! That means that hopefully we can focus more on what we're grateful to have in our own lives because I think a lot of us have more then we realize ::)

I love my....

Milo puppy
DH
House I'm renting
Car
24th birthday diamond ring
Coworkers
Hair (now dark brown with black lowlites - I get lots of compliments  )
Friends
French Vanilla Bean Yogurt
Wii (so much fun and I get instant movies on Netflix)
Wednesday nights watching Plain Jane or ANTM

What do you love? :))

I love my daughter!!! I also notice that the bad economy has brought our families closer together. We spend way more time together, because we're all such great (and free) entertainment. I love that :)

Lately I've really been appreciating Netflix. It is amazing you can have unlimited viewing of such a huge catalog of films at such a low price. :appl:

Plus when you start rating films it suggests other films you may also like.

I really like that about Netflix too. I love watching Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern and have begun a mental list of all the things I want to try :cheeky:

Food. Yum Yum. I am currently in a really bad mood, so I am filling the depths of my despair with Green and Blacks maya gold (the dark one with orange in it). I realize that this is not a very healthy reaction to bad mood, but for the moment its working.

that I am developing myself into a person that I want to be who will have fun and enjoy life

I love my:
Friends I have been blessed with throughout my life. All but 4 of them have died.
Jewelry collection
Freedom to live as I like and do as I like.

husband (I've been grappling with some things lately and he's been so supportive and loving)
daughter (she's the best, truly!)
house

In general I love my life. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by good friends, to have food on the table, to have a safe place to call home, to have people I love.

I love my...

- SO/FF! He is honestly the most amazing person that I have ever met. I didn't even know that someone could be so sweet, kind, caring, thoughtful, and just such a great person..until I met him.

- shih tzu. He is so sweet, loving, and loyal, and pretty much like my baby.

- parents. Sure, we get into little arguments, but I know that they love me and that they will always be there for me.

- pool. Even though it's going to start getting cooler soon, I love lounging in the pool during the summer.

- new workout DVD. I really want to tighten my abs and just get into better shape, and this video has great reviews. I tried it yesterday, and it definitely challenged me.

- engagement ring - that is, whenever I get it. :) My FF has it, but he's still planning the proposal.

My family, for the unconditional support

My friends, for giving me the space I need

Haagen Dazs Belgium chocolate icecream

Having saved enough money, which allows me to take a 6 months sabbatical without hardship

My books, an eternal source of knowledge, wisdom, fun, escapism and dreams

My duvet, because nothing can keep the scary world at bay like snuggling under it on a cold night, with a large mug of tea

My workbench, where I get to be creative

The concert hall in my city, where incredible music is played

Aww, Milo is precious! I love my:

Family (hubby, children, parents, sister, BIL, nieces)
Puppy dog, Zoe
our friends
home
neighborhood pool (since it's still well into the 90's here in GA)
ice cream
reading a good book or watching a good movie

Aw, Great thread!

I love my...

-DH! I don't want to imagine life without him.
-My kids! My three greatest accomplishments.
-My home. I never want to move.
-My DH's job, so that I can stay at home and be with our children, that it provides a good income and insurance.
-Children's schools! My kids are very blessed to live in a neighborhood with great public schools. Every classroom has several new computers, a smart board, teachers that are great, and a school staff that cares and parent volunteers up the wazoo!
-My minivan, lol. It's in the color I want, it's safe and best of it- we own it!
- Redbox! Who can beat a $1 movie rental??
-My new ring :naughty:

- My hard earned relationship with my mom, finally. I realized a few years ago if I think of myself as her older sister, we have a great dynamic. She loves to be taken care of and if I expect too much, it doesn't work all the way around.

-My husband. Even when he's being a PITA he apologizes later for his obnoxiousness. And 99% of the time he isn't a PITA, and is awesome.

-My kittehs. They're good and keep my head warm at night with their fuzzy butts. Whether I want a cat ass-hat or not.

-My friends. I've been working hard to keep some long term friendships tight for the last year or so, and to not take them for granted. And I've reconnected with some friends from the past and been pleasantly surprised that we still get along wonderfully. And in the last couple of months some of them have finally, finally connected with my husband rather than seeing him as an outsider/threat to our friendship. Yay!

-The people I work with. All my co-workers are awesome and I try to not take that for granted either, because I'm incredibly, incredibly lucky to have a staff I love to work with. Years ago the antique mall had a really awful culture- all sorts of backstabby snark and cliquishness- and I've busted my butt to change that, and now we really have a tight knit group that gets along great. They arrange dinners together all the time, and nobody's excluded like would have been the case in the past.

-That my husband's health is OK. We had a huge scare a few months ago, despite him being in what looks to be excellent physical condition.

-ink. I got a recent tattoo that I'm really loving as well as my 2nd to last one, the dragonfly on my back by Benjamin Moss. It's been five years or so since I got my back piece and I still feel privileged (sp? too lazy to look up!) to wear it.

-that I can finally drive a stick. I had to eat some crow and tell DH that yes, after a year or two of finally learning how to, that yes, I much prefer it like he always said I would. And that driving the RX8 w/ the manual transmission is *fun*.

-And yeah, I feel really lucky that I can wear/afford some nice antique pieces of jewelry. A lot if it is the result of very, very lucky and careful shopping, and honestly I know a good number of girls who spent way more on a single 1 ct-ish center stone e-ring than I did on my whole collection, but it looks pretty impressive ;))

Yeah yeah, not that interesting but it's nice to write it all out, for sure.

Bunnies!! They're so snuggly and cute. Plus, Otto has learned to jump up on the couches (only took him a year and a half) so now I have bunnies on my lap all the time (though they spend more time begging for food than sitting on my lap).

I love:

My friends and family (including DH),
My pup, Stella-dog,
My two kitties: Tela and Miyagi and special kudos to Miyagi who's still thriving despite a congenital heart disese
Watching my dedication pay off at work in the form of noticable change
Indulging in naughty foods like cookies and brownies
Music - every single thing about it!
Books

great question!
I love my:
twin sister
friends that keep me sane
family get togethers

I love my . . .

. . . little brothers. One of them is living with me right now, and I love getting to spend more time with him. The other one is still a teenager, but he has grown to be such a bright, thoughtful, interesting person. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him--I know he will do great things.

. . . husband. He is wonderful in a million and one ways. I am very, very lucky.

. . . co-workers. I am so happy I have some good friends at work. It makes my crazy, crazy job so much more bearable.

. . . new phone--my life has totally changed now that I have the Internet on my phone! I also love the snazzy purple cover I just bought for it.

. . . piano. It is so nice to be able to play it every day and relieve some stress with (mostly) beautiful music. I thank my mom every day for forcing me to practice and take lessons for so many years.

. . . new house. Almost every time I walk in, I can't believe that DH and I actually own it and that we actually live there. In my wildest dreams I didn't imagine we'd be able to buy such a perfect house for us.

. . . car. Six years later, I still love it just as much as I did the first time I drove it.

Your bunnies sound soooo cute ::) I never knew that they could be such an active part of the family :appl:

Snazzy new phone covers are awesome too! One of my decorating tricks to keep costs down is to keep several shower curtains handy - whenever I want to change things around I put up a different curtain :cheeky:
