I just purchased a 3 stone ring!! How does everything look?

You went ACA across the board. You did well. Did you go platinum with the setting?

All of her current jewelry is yellow gold, so I got 18 yellow gold with platinum prongs

Just curious why you went with K center and J sides????????????

I ended up going with a K center because the largest J color stone that they had in my price range was a 0.6 carat... I was able to get a 0.78 carat center stone by going down 1 color. I was also told that it is not possible to notice a difference between a J and a K once mounted... Plus the fact that it is being set in a yellow gold band, Hopefully you will not be able to notice much color at all.

Just chiming in to say that I really hope you'll show us the results - I'm going to be doing a 3 stone with similar proportions (.64 center and .27 sides), and also in a trellis setting, so I'm sure it will turn out lovely.

Whiteflash just emailed me and said that the ring was completed today (A week ahead of the estimated time!). They also attached 2 pictures. Here they are!



Hopefully I will see it in person this Friday

I got the ring in today! It is crazy-sparkly in the light. It is true that the fact that it sparkles so much makes it look a lot larger

I'm very surprised how white the K looks... Is that mostly due to it being an ACA? I feel like I could purchase a 1+ carat K or L color diamond that is well cut and I wouldn't be able to notice any difference. Is this feeling WRONG?
