@Bron357 There's testing of medicines ongoing at NIH in the US. those tests can be slow, can take a year before they make it through the approval chain.
@Bron357 - I think you will find they are using Quarantine globally not to stop the spread, they are doing it to try and slow the spread down a bit so that hospitals and health care workers are not overrun to the point where it cannot be monitored and treated, at least in Australia I think that is their plan.
Even with lots of money (since the disease is creating a new GFC plenty of governments and people are throwing money at it) scientists are saying they could be 18 months or more away from a vaccine, it's not the money it's trials on mice and other animals and then humans to prove it is safe and effective - these things all take time.
Wonderful ... and the point of singing a song while you wash your hands is to get you to wash your hands long enough, so the long has to be long enough but do not know the length of time.
I read singing the happy birthday song twice is the right time.
But nobody mentions that you can sing slowly or fast.
They should just state a time in minutes and seconds.
