I just bought somthing from ebay.

This will be my first post here! I have been looking around and reading the tutorial around here since i'm still pretty new with diamond

I just bought 2 ring on ebay without much consideration.. and suddenly began to worried about the decision i've made.

Can everyone help me take a look at the picture the vendor provide and give me some feedback on it? Thanks alot! I have no where to ask for help!

Can't tell you much about either. Because the pics are a bit hard to see. Since you posted on RT I'm assuming you want honest feedback and hopefully can return if you need to.

First one looks like a 15-20 point stone in an illusion head with heart shaped pave shoulders. Don't know the metal. Could be white gold or it could be platinum. I would have spent maximum 350 on it but would have prefered to spend closer to 200-250.

The other looks poor quality: black sapphire sides and a cluster of darker stones in the center. I wouldn't have paid more than 80 bucks on it. And honestly, I wouldn't have even spent that. If it were me.

Actually, the 2nd item i bided wrongly. I didn't wanted to buy this at all. I told the Vendor i wanted to cancel my bid and leave it for the previous person as i bided wrongly but it wasn't resolved and i'm still finding solution.

After looking at eBay, i feel that i should just go to a dealer and get one instead of keep looking at ebay and searching for so long yet got to worried the ring would be bad.

If you ask nicely some sellers will agree to cancel your purchase without a blackmark against you. And I think that's a good call for that ring.

Yes, thanks alot for the advice! I have already send the seller an email and currently waiting for her reply.

I am actually looking for a promise ring for my girlfriend. As i am still on student loan, my budget is around 400-500usd.

I am not looking for a super deal like great diamond with cheap price. Just want to find something that is unique and suitable ring or her.

Well the two rings you posted are sort of at opposite ends of the spectrum. One is white gold and art deco. The other is yellow gold and more of a modern ring with the flower thing going on. I'm not really a fan of either.

To of your price range but i think this is very nice and art deco

Thank you Sarah! I really love the ring in the link I guess i am still a beginner in ebay search! I would probably go to the store and check out their stuff when i get back the reply from my previous vendor..
