I have the results from the appraisal of my ring!

I mentioned about a week ago, I took my mom's diamond solitaire and 6 small diamonds out of her engagement ring and wedding band and had them set in a very simple white gold setting. When the jeweler first looked at the ring, she said that it was probably an "old european cut" diamond. Here are the results from the appraisal:

Description: 14kt. White gold and diamond engagement style ring. Center round brilliant diamond is set with 4 prongs. 3 round brilliant diamonds are prong set on each side of the center diamond.

So it is a typical modern RB and not an antique cut?
 
I'm not sure. The sales associate said that she thought it was some sort of mine cut stone or old european stone because there is an open culet at the bottom? I really know nothing at all about these things...and the appraisal says it is a round brilliant. I'm not sure what the believe. Maybe it is a badly cut round brilliant? I'm looking for answers here. :)
 
Do you have a photo of the diamond itself?

Yo ushould be able to ask the appraiser their opinion, but they may not know if they are not very experienced with older cuts.
 
Sorry all, could not post a picture last night. I will not be getting my ring until Tuesday.
