I Have A Bezel Set Necklace In The Works At BGD!

This is really exciting, Thing! I'm sure your necklace will look absolutely amazing on you.

I wish I had seen this thread sooner, 'cause I have a Barbara pendant from BGD, and I did the jump ring thing with mine. The chain is 16" with a jump ring at 15", and I almost always wear it at the 15" ring. I am very petite, though, and much, much shorter than you. I think 18" sounds like the right length for you.

One thing to note is that the pendant cannot be removed from its chain--at least, mine definitely can't--so getting two interchangeable chains might not work. Maybe ask Brian or Lesley about this if it's something you're planning to do.

Can't wait to see your pretty necklace (and yours, too, Tacori!).

I don't want to hijack, but Henna, do you have pics? I'm very interested in seeing as many pics of Barbara pendants as possible, since I'm considering buying one.

Tacori-I don't care about threadjacking-I want to hear about/see all things bezeled! It's funny-I get so used to shopping for jewelry online that I don't even think to check my local B&Ms, and there are several good independent jewelers near me. Maybe next time I'll stop by them to see what they have to offer!

Henna-that is very good to know about the pendant part not coming off-thank you! I guess that makes sense, because I wouldn't want to lose the diamond! I'm not sure how often I'd use the jump rings, but figured I might as well just add them since they're not too much more and I like to have options. I may skip the 16" jump ring but I can't decide...

my pendant also has milgrain and the bezel sure adds size (the ring is my 1ct F VVS1 cushion, poor thing stil doesn't have a thread!)

T2... I have a .8 K in a thin bezel and I absolutely love it--in my avatar. It's 18" and I had a jump ring at 16" but I never wear it there. And it hardly flips. I wear it daily--that and my rings are all I wear 99% of the time. You'll lurve it.

Okay, here's the ridiculous thing about me and bezels. With the sole exception of my bezel band wedding ring - I absolutely hate the way anything bezeled looks on me! It's hilarious. I ADORE the look on everyone else! But when I got my bezeled studs... I seriously was like WTF? I'm happier with my martinis. And I tried on a bezel pendant at a B&M and just kinda looked. And looked. And looked. And shrugged, LOL!

Can't wait to drool at it on your lovely neck though!

Glad to hear from someone with the 18" length! I think that'll be perfect for me. And I didn't realize yours was a K. I was a smidge nervous about the color and thought about going for a J instead, but I figure in a small size and on my neck it won't matter. I love yours-I hope I end up wearing mine just as much!
