I hate chin hairs!!

ok guys i got something for you. not only do i have upper lip hair, i have crazy eyebrow hairs that grow in every direction.

i am such a hairy beast that i

a)have to shave legs every morning and have severe stubble by night fall
b)have very dark hair
c)was told by my mother that when i was born i was so hairy that she could see the black hair on my ears and in a line down my back. that is just awful. thank goodness it isnt there anymore. she must have thought i was part monkey!!!

No, you aren''t the only one. One of the side effects of PCOS is extra hair growth and I get it underneath my chin and jawline. I automatically start feeling for new hairs and puling them out whenever I sit still long enough.

There is no point to this thread except that no matter what I might be doing during the day, if I feel a chin hair or a course upper lip hair, I become obsessive compulsive and have to pluck it out or I can''t concentrate. Am I the only one that has this OCD issue?

Ha! I don''t know why I just saw this thread after a month! But I can SO relate! I have this one very small inocuous mole on my face near my chin -- nothing anyone would really notice, unless the hair that grows out of it has reappeared! As soon as I feel that telltale stubble on that mole, I gotta find the magnifying mirror and my tweezers -- QUICK!

Like Matata, I suffer from ''older eyes'' and can''t always see some of the hairy appendages that seem to grow overnight. Like the one hair on my neck far below the hairline -- what the ?? Or the two-inch eyebrow hair I found one day! But when I found a long hair just below my eye, I knew I was officially old -- regardless of whether I qualify for the Denny''s senior''s menu and AARP or not!

Haha, when I was 21 I noticed my first grey hair- I have about 3 total now and I''m 25.
When I was 22 or so, I started getting a thick, dark chin hair! And then two! THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY. I will obsessively pull on it if I forget to pluck it and it gets long enough, until I can pluck it. What the heck, right? Beauty shouldn''t be so fleeting!

I don''t have chin hairs (yet, apparently

) but I do have weird hairs growing in places. I am a dark blonde, but have one very very dark hair that likes to grow out of my right breast and appears out of nowhere! I also have a hair that grows out the side of my nose - that one is bright bright white. I don''t get it!

But I did invest in tweezerman tweezers recently - totally worth the $!

As for that Newsweek cover, I would be MAD if that were me! There is not one reason that I can think to get that close!
