Hey all! Haven''t been around lately, and when I tried to come back, it was during the 2.0 debacle
Anyway, just wanted to update all of you ladies and gents that were sending me job dust!
I did get the job that I had posted about and I will be the Programs Coordinator for a National nonprofit! I''ve also been working for the Census in the interim, so the timing was just right! I''m very excited, and tomorrow is my first day! Eeeek!
I can finally breathe a sigh of relief about when I will find a job and I feel much more confident now about my role as a contributor to our household, and a contributor to our wedding plans. FI has been so amazing, gracious and supportive for the past 4 months of waiting for me to find a job, and I can''t wait to take him out for an amazing dinner as a HUGE thank you for all of his awesomeness. I feel so blessed and so happy, I''m almost scared that things are too good to be true. I imagined moving here and taking just about any job that I could get, and just dealing with it for a year or two until I could find something that I was more interested in. I feel so fortunate to be doing EXACTLY what I love with a company that I love! If I could write my own description of the perfect job, I could not have done it any better than my current position. It''s AMAZING! I even get to telecommute 2 days a week, and get paid vacation from Dec 24-Jan 1, as well as a week off in the spring, in addition to my personal vacation time. And did I mention that it is only 6 miles from my house, no highway commute? OMG, unbelieveable.
I wish all the best of luck to any other job seekers out there, those who are still waiting, and getting tired and frustrated. *Tons of dust to you*
And for those of you who are loving and supporting job seekers, thank you for your patience, love and encouragement. I means the world, it really, really does!
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that is more reassuring than knowing that you can be loved even through the hard times. And it makes the easy times that much easier, and sweet.
Thanks for reading, and thank again for the dust, support and encouragement!!! It really has been priceless.
