The application has been lodged, I will find out whether I have the grant within
10 days

My uni seem very confident it will all go through smoothly - they are getting me in next week to accept/sign my formal letter of offer etc..And I will also be having my photo taken and making some comments, for some pamphlets about the program to be created - eeek!

Flame - I may have to agree with you, "bling luck" lol..


ha ha Kate - that's what Julia was saying too! Honestly, I don't know
if I'd have the patience to do it..but maybe one day I'll look
into that kinda thing as a "fun" or second career. Right now I'm just grateful
for a first proper career, lol..

Just received an email with an attached APPROVAL LETTER today !!!

I''ve been approved for the Cadetship, now it''s just a matter of some paperwork etc and I start my new job at the uni!

And, of all things the approval came today, on my B''day, lol..

Cheers everyone for your dust, and also for your support and kindness over the last couple months when I''ve had a rough time.

Things are 150% looking up, and I''m excited and looking forward to starting on my new career.
