i think i have all the settings right, but i can''t take up close pictures. it doesn''t auto focus when it''s zoomed in. what kind of lighting conditions is best for taking pictures of a diamond ring?

I haven't tried this yet but I heard if you have an idealscope and take off the pink part- you'll get a nice shot.

(I really need an ideal-scope!

it is a true macro get within 1.5 to 2 inches from the object with the end of the lense and try it :}
