I found this diamond on USACertedDiamonds, but I would like some opinions on it. I followed a diamond dimensions cheat sheet a saw on this forum and matched this diamond to the sheet and it appears to be within the ideal ranges. My only concern would be if this diamond is eyeclean, other then that, it seems to be a great diamond.

So, I just want to see what everyone here thinks and if I should get anymore information on this diamond to reassure that this is indeed a good one!

The specs are below.

Thanks!!

Hi Friced,

This diamond looks very promising - good job!! Check carefully that it is eyeclean to your standards, also an Idealscope image would be good to confirm the numbers if available, but it does appear to be well worth further consideration!

And I also found this one:

What does "Additional clouds are not shown" mean? Are they trying to hide something?

Thanks Lorelei!

I really apreciate your input. I just hope it is eyeclean, then I get that baby set!

Is that a cat in your picture? It looks really poofy

In a VS1 stone the additional clouds won''t impact the clarity of the stone. They aren''t shown because they are not the inclusion that sets the grade. It should be just fine!

I''m a novice when it come to diamond specs, but I''ve been trying to inquire about a diamond from USA Certed diamonds and have had an awful time with them. I contacted them and was promised a response, but never got one. I decided to try again recently, and it''s the same thing. They said they would get back to me and never have. Now I''m officially done with them, but I hope your transaction goes smoother than mine did.

I have been in contact with Martin from USACERT several times this week regarding a purchase. I haven''t talked much details with him yet, but I am waiting for some information from him. I hope he responds to my questions. But everything seems to be going ok so far.

I would do the H Si1 over the I VS2. I''m a color fan over clarity in most all cases...

Ok, here's the GIA report for the first diamond.

The vendor said the diamond is total eyeclean, because the inclusions are small and spread out. I'm leaning more towards this diamond right now as it is within my budget, but i'm still nervous as I don't know what it really looks like in person. Apparently, once this diamond has been delivered from the States to Canada, I cannot return it unless it doesn't match its specs. When I was told this I got really nervous as I have never bought a diamond, let alone one that's from online and I haven't seen.

USACERTED said he can't get me any images to verify the clarity of this diamond, but it will justt be fine, eventhough it is SI1. I can try to ask him for an idealscope image too.

So, according to all you veterans out there :), is this GIA report sufficient to make a purchase on this diamond?

Thanks
