Does your dress require a 2.75" shoe or are you worried that 3.75" will be uncomfortable? My heels were 4" and surprisingly comfortable, thugh I did switch to platform flip flops that were the same height and they were very comfortable all night long.

The perils of being 5''4" and having a 6'' 3" husband.

I''m just worried about them being uncomfortable.. I need to find my shoes before I order the dress. From the factory they will shorten it 3 inches for free and over 3 a $60 charge. I was told by this awful women in a bridal shop that I should be measuring from the inside of the heel, but a store front ebay member is showing to measure the heel from the outside. I started to measure shoes in my closet that I actually feel comfortable in and I have some there over 3inches. I guess it all depends on the heel width too. Thinny heels can be uncomfortable to me.

If you take them to a cobbler, they should be able to lower the heel, it''s not really that complicated. If they were some ridiculously expensive shoes I would be more wary, but a good shoe repair person should be able to lower them with no problem. Maybe just call around to a couple in your city? It might cost you more than the cost of the shoes, but if you love them that much and they are so cheap, it could be worth it!!

really!!? Cool thanks for the tip
I am going to order them and see how it goes

Can you show us a picture of the shoes.... not like it matters, but I JUST LOVE SHOES! I like to see what you girls are pairing with your dresses!

of course blueeyes!

here yah go!

I just love pictures... hahaha

BTW I ended up purchasing them for $15! w/ a different store they were a yellow tag sale item

What a gret peep toe! I don''t think they look to high, but it depends on what you are comfortable with and the length of your dress. Will you have them in time for your next fitting? Or like karasue said, take them to a cobbler to get the heel height lowered. You got the shoes for a steal and you love them so it will be worth it to get the height lowered if necessary. It may be cheaper to do that than get the hem let out a bit, but who knows!

Fortunately, I haven''t ordered the dress yet, they are going to do all the shortening at the factory because of the lace scalloping at the bottom of the dress. So, I am going to see what the shoes are like when they come in, I''ll try and break them in, wear them around the house for a day and see if they are comfortable. If not, I''ll see about getting them shortened. I researched online it''s possible to have a shoe shortened by one inch.

I love those shoes-what a bargain! I''m planning on getting four inch heels also as I''m only 5 ft 4 and D is much much taller. Try them on and wear them around the house and see how comfy they are before doing anything with them.

Those are so cute! I love peep-toes, I hope they''re still in style when I have to start shoe/dress shopping!

You have to be careful having the heels lowered. I tried the same thing and the cobbler warned me the heels could snap when worn. Its something to do with the walking position and the pressure on the heel when its made smaller.....

those just may be the cutest shoes ever. i''m just saying...

but what does heel shortening do to the arch of the shoe? wouldn''t it change the whole proportion of it? eek!!

Very cute shoes!!!

I wouldn''t have the heels shortened though... On high heels, the angles of the soles are designed for a specific heel height. When you change the heel height, it changes both the fit and the look of the shoes.

There used to be a cobbler near my work that ground down some of my heels when I took them in for new heel tips, instead of just pulling out the old heel tips. I didn''t notice until I realized that I was stumbling a lot in certain shoes, and looked at them real closely. Not something you want on your wedding day! If you''re still thinking of trying this, I''d suggest that you try it with another pair of shoes you''re willing to sacrifice before trying it on these cute wedding beauties.

An alternative you might try is "insolia" inserts (www.insolia.com). I''ve got them in a pair of shoes that I couldn''t resist... and bought against my better judgement. The inserts, together with some gel inserts for the sole, worked for me.

MustangFan,
Whatever happened with these shoes?

I think they are adorable.

They're SO cute! Where did you order them from, or what is the brand?

They're way too tall for my wedding, but I'd totally get them in another color and wear them for other events

ETA: Nevermind, I didn't notice how outdated this thread was!

Ooo! I bought those same shoes in Blue from eBay! I not a two dress girl, but a two shoe girl....I wanted blue shoes and I loved these....however, I''m still keeping these because they are so cute, but using others that I found that are more comfortable (and they have an even higher heel than these!)

Oooh Mustang and Cleo! Those shoes are super cute!

Mustang, have you tried just walking around in them? I hope they work out.

Cleopatra I love those shoes in the blue!! Do you mind if I ask which ebay seller you bought them from?

Hi Shigidigi! I think the seller was Pop Icon Fashion.....is that what it says in the pic? I did an ebay search for "Delicious" shoes (brand) and a ton of these shoes came up)

Thanks Cleo!
