OK, so I have been working with Huan at Quest Jewelers(I highly recommend them!) and here is the stone that he helped me find. The specs look good to me, and the price is great $3,770. The details are as follows....

1.13ct Oval
H Color
SI Clarity
Depth 61.2%
Table 58%
Girdle: Thin-Thick
Culet: None
Polish/Symmetery: Very Good/Good
Fluorescence: None
Dimensions: 7.88x6.01x3.68mm
GIA Certified: Certificate # 15191264
Huan sent me some images of the stone and they look great. The small inclusions are mostly along the girdle and can be covered with the prongs.

Let me know what you all think!

Thanks

post pics!

Yes please post pics, can''t wait to see it!!!

The only pictures that I have are too large to post on here. Anyone know how I can re-size them?

Is this THE stone... or are you teasing me again? LOL.

OK, here is one of the pics...

I think this is it! I am a bit burnt out from the whole process, so I hope I don''t change my mind again!

I thought the same thing.

cburby, have you seen this stone in person? what do your eyes tell you?

Do you have another pic??

I have not seen the stone in person, but I was informed by Huan that there was no bow tie on this stone. I will post a couple more pics for you all to see. I was told by Huan at Quest that this was a great stone and that he was really excited about it. From all the glowing recommendations by everyone on here about Quest, I figured his opinion was worth a lot.

Ok, here is another picture. This is really bothering me because Martin Fuller, whom Huan said is a master appraiser, also said there was no bow tie.

Christian, the way ovals are cut, there is no way to have that middle area 100% faceted. That''s just the way ovals are. I think that first picture with the black background overemphasized the bowtie effect. If Martin Fuller said it was okay, then I think you can trust that opinion. I think the picture of the finished ring is beautiful!
