Whew! I have been looking at engagement rings for so long and finally bought one. I am so glad that I found Pricescope and was able to track down a number of different sources to help me find the perfect ring for my sweetheart. Jason over at Pearlmans was so great and made me feel really comfortable buying a ring without ever seeing it. My girlfriend really wanted a ring that had an antique look to it and we both really liked the idea of having a mismatched stone/halo combo. So here is what we went with:
GIA Cert
1.1 Carat round diamond, G color, SI1 clarity, with an ideal, hearts/arrows cut
Beverly K semi-mount with a cushion head. We aren''t huge fans of the signature engraving on Beverly K rings, so we customized it to have diamonds all the way around the front and sides. I cannot wait for this ring to show up in the mail, and I will obviously post pictures of the actual ring when I get it, but I will post the images from Pearlmans
Thanks again to everyone for your posts and your information...there is such a wealth of information here and I am glad that I came here to learn instead of going to a mall store. Thanks again.
