Just ordered them from netbride.com. They''re so cute. They''re sort of simple.. and I sort of tried to find something a little different.. but my head just kept going back to them. Maybe because I saw them in someones bio on the knot in the right colors..and something about the sample when I saw it in person was just SO pretty..
We are doing a white top with a fuschia skirt. liek this

Wish I had pics on my flowergirls.. but they never actually got a chance to go try dresses on with me.
And I''m attaching the swatch card.
My bridesmaids are wearing the light pink (with black trim)
And the FGs are in the fuschia. I think the swatch gives a more accurate picture of what the fushia looks like than the colorized picture.

cute! do you mind me asking how much it was? I need to price dresses now!

our FG just decided she''d be in our wedding party today - yay! except, she''s not sure she wants to walk down the aisle with the RB! sigh...

$86 from netbride.com.. around $130 in the bridal shop I think.

If you''re looking for some less expensive ones.. I also really love www.ballerinacollection.com
and there are a lot of sites for flowergirl dresses online.
I think some of them are
www.girlsdresses.com
and www.flowergirldressesonline.com

The reason I didn''t pick any of those is because I really wanted the fuschia color.. and most of those sites have just light pink, light blue, lavendar..

tooo cute! thats one of my favorite flowergirl dresses!

It is so adorable!!

How did you "estimate" what size to order for your flowergirl? I had been planning on ordering from netbride, but when I brought my god-daughter in to be measured at my local bridal shop, they said that it was too difficult to estimate what size she will be for a June wedding now, and that I should wait until around February and then order it from them. Well, the price difference between the bridal shop and netbride is huge, so I haven''t done anything yet because I can''t decide on what size to order!

Hmm.. I don''t know.. For my 5 and a half year old neice.. she is currently between the 6 and 7 measurements.. so we ordered a 7..since she''s a little older I didn''t think she would grow that much. My other neice is only 18 months, will be 23 months for the wedding.. and she actually measured about a size 2 right now.. but the length was about 10 inches too long! We ordered her the 3. There is no way that a baby less than two is going to be bigger than a size three. We figure if anything, she is going to get taller and slimmer between now and then.. It seems to me that the bridal shop would be able to tell you something like.. "order a size bigger" or something.. How old is your goddaughter?

She''ll be six in January, so not much older than your flower girl. I guess I will just bring her back to the bridal shop and demand that they measure her. Then, depending on the measurements, we will order a dress size up.

Thanks MS!

That dress is adorable & the fuschia will look fabulous w/ your BM dresses!

that dress is adorable, MS!

I''m not even sure if we''ll have a flowergirl yet. My cousin''s wife is due with a girl in about a month, which means she''ll be around 19 months when we get married. We might just dress her up as a flowergirl anyway (so cute!), even if she can''t make it down the aisle. Or maybe her big brothers will help.

IceKid - I know what you mean about just dressing her up as a flowergirl. :) My best friends twin boys will be about two months old for the wedding and I am DYING to get them little tuxedos. She is not even sure that she is going to bring them to the wedding..even though I want her to.

I think you guys need to start a thread on flowergirl dresses! Those are so cute!!! That was probably one of my favorite things about planning my wedding. Here''s a funny: when two of my flower girls were getting dressed in the room adjacent to my bridal suite, I was already in my dress, and I heard the 3 year old exclaim, "I love the wedding girl--she''s beeeaaauuuutiful!" It brought tears to my eyes and made me laugh at the same time! The "wedding girl," kids are so funny!

i love the dress that you picked! really cute.

and monarch -- such a great story

i''m not sure about flower girls -- i love the idea, but my family is huge and i don''t think that we are going to be able to have kids at the wedding, so how can i have a couple for the wedding party and not invite everyone...
