I''m engaged!! I lurk a lot on this site and I only recently began posting here and there (mostly in the LIW forum)--and I absolutely cannot believe I finally have my own sparkly to share!! I am sooo happy with my amaaazing fiance and, of course, my ring!

the specs are:
Round-cornered rectangular modified brilliant
1.33c
H color

Good polish
Good symmetry
No fluorescence
(I''m a size 6--but only in ring size...haha!)

I actually have a question for all you knowledgeable ladies--is this cut a cushion? I was told it is, but I don''t know if I''ve ever heard of a cut like this--it reminds me of a cross between a cushion and a radiant...

I''m not an expert by any means, but it looks a lot like the ''Cushette'' diamond I tried on a while ago. Very, very beautiful ring. It''s classic and timeless, I love it!

Looks gorgeous is what that is! I don't even know what you'd actually clasify that as without closer shots of the diamond, but it looks a tad bit Modern Rectangular Cushion-ey.

It could be a cushdiant or a radshion. Whatever it is it is very pretty. Congratulations.

Thank you all so much!! I really am still on Cloud Nine, days later!! I''ve been sitting around, studying in my PJs and my ring!

According to the GIA report, the measurements are 7.19x6.17x3.83mm

I know noooothing about what table/girdle, etc. measurements mean! I''m a bad pricescoper, huh?
it looks like the table size is 67% and the total depth is 62.1%...does that make sense?

oops, I''m embarrassed for not knowing!

UGH, tell me about it! We were so happy that when we got back home after getting engaged on Friday and we watched the game, that they won "for us"...but I think that was the last time that happened since then.
