Wedding I bought shoes for my wedding!

I bought my shoes for my wedding! I''ve been going to stores off and on and I keep getting attracted to the silver sandals with the little crystal-bling on the front, but either the bling is just a little too gawdy, not my style, or really out of my budget. So I went online today and saw the most perfect pair of sandals! I think they''ll go really well with the style of my dress, and they''re so pretty and not too overstated. And they''re in my budget! Below are pics. I can''t wait until they come in (hopefully they fit - crossing my fingers!)

I can only wear high heels for a couple of hours at a time, and then my feet begin to have the most dreadful pain imagined. Seeing shoes like this, makes me wish it weren''t the case, especially with a wedding (who doesn''t want lovely shoes?). Lucky gal.

Sand and I generally don''t mix, nevermind with stilletos.

Our church ceremony is going to be over an hour long; I don''t think I could stand for that long in anything more than flats. Just thinking about it is making my feet throb.

I wore 4 inch stewart weitzman's to a friends wedding, stepped on my gown tripped, fell, slid down the stairs, out of the shuttle, sprained both my ankles, tore my lovely new Carmen Marc Valvo dress and hit my head-- hard. EVERYONE knew who I was all of the sudden. I think I had more people come up to me and ask me how I was, than the bride had greeting her. Since then, I have MANY shoe restrictions when I'm wearing a long gown, and John DOES NOT LET GO when I'm near stairs, a ramp, or anything of that sort.

Oh my gosh, Gypsie, that is hilarious! I''m clumsy in 4-inch heels or flats, haha.

I have a series of pictures of me climbing up a wall of rocks in my 4-inch heels so we can get some nice pics on top of the rocks. When the photographer asked if I brought my rock climbing shoes before climbing the rocks my husband said "Ha! She''d probably PREFER to go rock climbing in 4-inch heels. You can carve out your own footholds with those things!"

Yeah. I have a reputation. You should hear John quizing the vineyards on their grass watering schedules for our ceremony sites. All of the coordinators are like,"well, if the soft grass and sinking are that much of a concern we can certainly hold off watering for that day."

N.E.L... your groom is just standing back, it's so amazing. Mine would be plastered on the rocks in front of me going, "Over my dead body."

With good reason, admittedly.

I know! It''s funny - I chose these shoes ESPECIALLY because the heel was, in my opinion, quite low. I don''t think I have another pair of dress shoes in my closet that have a lower heel than that.

The only thing I worry about with them is if they''re too much - they''re not so demure, as some of the other shoes I see people buying for their weddings. They''re strappy and sassy. I don''t usually buy shoes with all that bling on them. But I figured that these are special shoes, and in the hot month of September, I''d be glad to have less foot coverage.

sunnyd - I don''t think for a MINUTE that these won''t dig into my feet. That is why I intend on purchasing a cute little pair of silver flip-flops for the reception.

Those look like great wedding shoes. Bling but not too much of it. Looks like you could wear them again out after the wedding. Hope you like them when you get them.

For the digging in part, I had good luck with Foot Petals products. They have something called Strappy Strips which help with the small straps of those kind of sandals. Really saved my feet on my wedding day.

Do those shoes come in size 5 and/or 35? I think they are great! I hope they fit. I tried on a pair of shoes similar but not as lovely as your shoes last week but they were too big. They did come in a 3 inch heel...

OH NO!!!! I got the shoes and they look great but they HURT SO MUCH!!!! I only had them on my feet for 2 minutes and I had these deep, purple grooves in my feet!

I''m gonna have to send them back. Here we go again...
