Wedding I bought my dress!

I''ve been agonizing for months whether or not I should splurge on my dream dress but this weekend I decided to take the plunge and get it! It''s a Christos dress from a few seasons ago, I think, and it doesn''t have a particular name. I got it in ivory and it''s sooo pretty and romantic in person. I don''t have any pics of me in it yet but I''ll try to attach a photo from Christos below. It''s so nice to have this decision out of the way!

I wish I had some real-life pics to post because the model makes it look so severe and the neckline isn't as tight as it looks in the picture. Plus I'm petite and the model is so tall. It wasn't my favorite of the photos I collected before going to try on dresses but after trying it on it was my #1 from the beginning. Just goes to show that you need to try on different styles to see what works best on you!

Lovesparklies!! I''ve been looking for you! Not sure if you remember me from another post, but I was in the process of deciding on a memoire setting similar to your ring. I finally took the plunge and ordered it! It should be ready next week and i can''t wait!!! I was wondering if you got your ring back form memoire yet and if they fixed it to your liking? Do you have pictures? I''d love to see them.

Anyway- back to your amazing dress!! it''s gorgeous! I''m glad you decided on your #1 "in person" choice. I''m glad you didn''t settle for #2- you would probably regret it! When I was looking for my dress, I searched through magazine after magazine and really thought i knew what i wanted. I eneded up getting something completely different once i started trying things on. Don''t they look so much different on different body types?!

Oh my gosh, chipp, I''ve been feeling guilty for not posting new pics of my ring and you caught me! haha. My camera has been acting up and I haven''t gotten any good pics of it yet but I promise to try again this week.

It took about 7 weeks to get the ring back from Memoire and it looks beautiful and just slightly more blingy with a tiny bit larger sidestones. The one unfortunate thing was they made it a tiny bit bigger than the last one and sometimes it feels like it''s going to slide off, but then whenever I decide I have to go in to get beads put on the inside I''m swollen and the ring fits fine. Argh! So I''m not sure what I''m going to do there.

What are the specs of your new ring as far as # of prongs and size of sidestones and whatnot? Where did you order it from? I bet you''re so excited to get it and I hope you''ll be better about posting pics than I have been.

I''m so glad you like my dress! I can''t wait for it to come in and get it fitted and try on veils with it!

I''m glad you finally got your ring back! I can''t wait to see pictures. What size are the new side stones?

I ended up going with the 4 prong full eternity. I almost opted for the 6 prong for more security, but i decided that i really like the look of the 4 better. I think my stones are almost .04 each (or something between .033-.04). I completely understand your frustration on the ring size. I was going back forth between 4.5 and 5 depending on the weather. So i thought I should go with 4.75, but then remembered that i really wanted the sizing beads added (i have big knuckles so i need them so my ring doesn''t spin) so went with 5. Let''s hope it fits! I''ll definitely post pics as soon as i get it!
