Hey guys!
I just need some opinions from everyone. So I've been researching a LOT and finally came to a decision to go for a lower color grade in exchange for a larger stone BUT has a quality cut . So right now I'm looking into I and J stones which "are" H&A according to the description (BUT I will get them checked by a gemologist/appraiser before formally purchasing/keeping it).
Questions:
1. I've read a lot of things about diamonds with lower colors such as I and J having strong blue fluo,i which they said fluo "can balance out the yellow tint into giving it a whiter appearance"...what's the worse case scenario here? the diamond being too "cloudy" in appearance? The stone being too "milky" that the cuts aren't visible inside? I've seen excellent ones from the search button and I liked what I saw (no cloudy appearance, but blue tint when it hits the sunlight)
2. I've come up with 3 choices. Basically, I can get them all shipped at one time but I don't want to take the risk of having 3 stones @ a time. I wanna cut my choices down into 2...so if you guys can help me out! I've entered 3 of them on the HCA as well and all of them scored triple excellent (1.2, 1.4 and 1.3 respectively)*except Spread
*ALL GIA
stone 1: .71ct
*My #1 choice because of its cut, size and cost
triple ex, J, VS2, strong blue fluo ($2124 CDN),crystal inclusion, Excellent on the H&A scale 1.2
stone 2: .71ct
triple ex, I, VS2, strong blue fluo ($2539 CDN), cloud inclusion, Excellent on the H&A scale 1.4
stone 3: .73ct
triple ex, J, VS1 , faint fluo ($2404 CDN), cloud-crystal-needle inclusion, Excellent on the H&A scale, 1.3
I'm really leaning onto buying stone 1 because of the price and it has an excellent SIZE for its ct wt too. It also has a crystal inclusion which I most prefer of all the inclusions (people have told me I shouldn't worry about it in a VS2)
Please answer by answering #1 and a choice for #2 (in order)
Thanks guys!
