Ringthings, While I am no antique jewelry expert, I believe the diamond ring definitely is given the old mine cuts, and the sapphire ring is likely a art deco period ring.

The sapphire-circled diamond ring is from Dover Jewelry (doverjewelry.com). I have purchased from them for a few years now and they are trust worthy with great customer service.


The all-diamond ring is purchased from a private jeweler. She has a Ebay store (cbhpllc) and is a wonderful person to work with. She answered all my questions and responded to my inquiries thoroughly.


Old cut diamonds and jewelries are very addictive. So be warned!

Thanks! I''ve actually been visiting Dover Jewelry a lot lately. I''m hoping something I really love will be on one of their NR ebay listings at some point since those seem to sell for great prices.

Here is a pic, not really in focus because of the lighting in the restaurant was so bad. But it shows how all the facets reflect a rainbow of colors. I could not take my eyes off this ring that night!
