I am looking to buy a Radiant stone w/ the following specs:
Regarding the Radiant I am looking for a stone 1.9(min) -2.09(max)CT, VS1-SI1, G-H color, Table%: 60%(min)-69%(max) and, Depth%: 60%(min)-69%(max). Polish/Symmetry: Excellent-Very Good, Cutlet: none, Fluorescence: none. The ring we have in mind can be seen on www.karagosian.com. Now the question is are my specs good, meaning will I get the optimal stone for my money or should I adjust my specs particularly table and depth %''s? I really need some help and any info (even source to purchase) would be greatly appreciated. I used the specs from a book I read How to buy a Diamond and want to make sure they are the best, but I also do not want to spend $1,000''s more just for something which cant be seen by the naked eye (i.e. diff between 60 and 70% for table and depth).

HELP

You might want to see this thread, the discussion is very relevant for you too! In general, radiants are harder to pick based on numbers alone and there is more controversy on what makes a nice radiant. I would suggest calling several vendors and she what they have to offer and looking at some radiants in person to see what you like.

Here are three sites to start your radiant education. The Original Radiant Cut website show the radiant cuts originator''s ideal specs
Original Radiant Cut Link:
http://www.radiantcut.com/index.html

Gem Appraisers/Dave Atlas has a chart with radiant ideal specs. Just type in radiant in the "chart" field. Here''s the link.
http://gemappraisers.com/oldcutgraderules.asp

See more radiant cuts and beautiful ring on this site than probably anywhere.
Here''s the Diamonds by Lauren link.

Remember the numbers are just a starting point. Nothing can replace your eye and what looks good. The more radiants you see, the more you will know what you like and what is "ideal" for YOU.

Good Luck!
