So, the kitten has asthma (new) and I have chronic sinus issues (not new). We are trying to keep MC off any serious medication, so I bought an air filter, which we wanted for awhile anyway, and threw out the Pine Sol, supposedly pine scent is a common trigger.

But what can I buy at the store that is a good hypoallergenic brand? I need something to clean the floors, bathtubs, and counters---and the cat. Previously I used Comet on the tub and sink, Pine Sol and Clorox on the floors, and Dawn on the cat.

Brand suggestions and sources pllllllease! I looked on Amazon to no avail. My local grocery isn't exactly upscale, so any supermarket brands would have to be pretty lowbrow, or online-orderable.

Thanks so much

You have to order it online, but this stuff is the best http://www.thecleanteam.com/
My parents use it since my father has an autoimmune disorder which they treat by killing his immune system. This stuff is enviromentally friendly and because most of the cleaners come in concentrate, they are actually cheaper in the long run.
Their general cleaner, red juice, is made from seaweed, soybean extracts, palm kernels and palm oils

The USDA has a list of products rated A-1 which is the safest to use around food due to their non toxicity, but I am having trouble finding the link. The name of the document is "USDA Performance Standards for Cleaning Products” so you can look if you are curious.

Hmm...I looked for floor cleaner, but I only found ammonia?

Thanks! I don''t necessarily need the grade of good your dad would need, but it is a great resource to have.
