Hello,
I have done so much research but am getting stuck on this one small feature I'm looking for.

Oval E-Ring in Harry Winston style (Halo, pave thin band), but my girlfriend really wants the small stones on the band to be visible from the side (IE, when she is wearing it and looking down at the ring, for the view of the side-band to be sparkly). I hope I am explaining this correctly.

I have seen so many samples of HW rings but unfortunately none of them are "sparkly from the side" in her words. I've been all over the diamond district and seen some great rings (here are pics I took: http://imgur.com/a/cc8G1 ) but her reaction is "cant see the sparkle from the side" of the band diamonds. Sorry for the poor quality of my pics.

Here are a couple pics from the internet I found of ones that I guess are really obvious from the side: http://imgur.com/a/i1lmG

Is it possible to find such rings in a halo micropave with thin band? Please help I am going crazy over here!!

She wants three sided pave shank, right?

Check these out by Victor Canera. He can pretty much make any of his settings with three sided pave on the shank and the basket, the oval halo included.

Leon Mege's website also shows lots of rings with three sided pave on the shank.

Firstly, she's never going to be viewing the ring from that extreme of a side angle while it's on her hand. Now, I like three-sided pave, I have it on my engagement ring, but it requires more care than regular pave (which in turn requires more care than no pave). Three-sided pave rings, especially the type you're looking at, especially ones with thin bands, are very much "princess rings" that you wear for events, when you have people over, etc, not just every day rings the way most people think of an engagement ring, because they're simply not sturdy enough. So that's something to consider when thinking about whether you really want the three-sided pave.
