ok, please do tell why you are thinking of changing your Ritani setting? Does it have anything to do with the rings or are you just wanting something different? I only ask b/c I''m so gun shy when it comes to actually purchasing a new setting. there are a few in my favorite''s folder but I don''t know how I can actually choose one so any and all info giving pros and and cons would be most helpful

ETA: i just reread and saw you''re thinking about a halo?

Quest would do a great job with your 3-stone...
I just want something different. I''ve had it for 2.5 years now and while I love it, I never really liked how it sort of blends with the wedding bands.
What would I change about it? Hmmm, let''s see, I would want the diamond set a tiny bit higher, I would want the shank to be wider than the wedding bands so you notice that it is a different ring, I want the diamonds to be slightly bigger.
I like the halo look, but ZI can''t decide if I want my diamond prong set or bezel set, if zI want an outer edge on the halo or not, how big the halo should be, etc.

Anyway, these are just random thoughts. ZI figured I would call Quest and at least get the ball rolling since the stone I want to make the three stone setting anyway!

Take care, and have a great week!

Awe, you''re so sweet. YEs, the third one is gorgeous, but I really thought they were charging too much for a 14kt. WG setting.
YOu have a nice week as well.!

I like #3 - where is that setting from? Reminds me of a Jaffe -

I like #1 also - I guess it depends on what you are in the mood for - you can''t beat #1 for the antique feel (perfect for the sapph sides, IMO) but as far as pure settings go, I like #3!
The #3 ring is from Knox jewelers and it will cost $800 to make in 14kt. WG, which I kind of feel is too much for 14kt.

I have to say number one as well. I like the way the stones sit up in that mounting. It sort of has a boxy look that really looks good with those stones.

Who made the three stone rings in the other pics?

The #2 ring I found off ebay and it is something like $200 in 14kt. WG.

I got a quote from a local guy last year for putting a 0.42ct princess into a 3-stone with small sapphire sides for $1500 in 14k! Talk about "too much"... I just laughed inside, thanked him, and promptly got up and left the store! :)

Ohhhh, I like #3! That has always been one of my favorite 3-stone designs. Someday I am going to have a Mark Morell...

JK. Seriously Kayla, your Ritani rings are so gorgeous but if you''re not really satisfied, then what''s the point? I hope you''ll find something that you''ll be very happy with. I am very excited to hear about your new project. Those sapphires are stunning!

Have you seen this???
I don''t want to give details about the stones just yet, I want to wait until I have the completed ring.
