They don''t wear gloves?!?!? WTF?!?I would definitely stay away from there then. It would be one thing if the band-aid had found it''s way ''out'' of the glove somehow, but if they''re not wearing gloves at all while preparing food, that is extremely unsanitary!![]()
Thing, this is exactly how I feel. I don''t think we''re really "entitled" to more than a refund, which is why DH only asked for our money back. But it just would have been a nice gesture for the store to give us a small gift certificate or something to show that they take this seriously and that they want to keep us as customers.Date: 6/22/2010 2:00:43 PM

Most chefs don''t wear gloves at restaurants, actually. Bare hands that are clean are just as sanitary as gloved hands. HOWEVER if someone has a band-aid on their had they absolutely should be wearing gloves. To not do so is DISGUSTING. And did they just not notice they lost their band-aid?!
I would contact the manager of the store and speak to them directly. I would imagine that most businesses in a similar situation would want to give more than a refund to encourage repeat business. I''m not saying you''re entitled to more than a refund, but if I were the manager of that store I''d probably offer a gift certificate as an apology and I would also want to assure the customer that it wouldn''t happen again.
