How would these be as studs?

Hi All,

I used to be on here somewhat regularly back in 2015, 2016 when I was getting engaged and married, but then my spending drifted from diamonds to bags so it's been a while since I've posted. I'm starting to get back into diamonds/jewelry again, and I'm itching for some pieces - starting with studs. I already have 0.25 CWT pair of diamond studs (G - H, SI, VS-EX cut) and a 0.50 CWT pair of diamond studs (G - H, SI, VS-EX cut), and I'd like something in the 1ct range for my third holes. I was wondering what folks thought of these: https://ivyandrose.com/products/1-2...mond-stud-earrings-rare-e-f-si2-natural-loose. Would these make good studs?

A few things to note: I'm not necessarily the most discerning of customers. I'm not all that color sensitive, and I've always thought I'm not that clarity sensitive either, as long as stones are eye-clean That being said, I might be a bit more clarity sensitive than I initially thought because I have a pair of .78 CWT studs that are I1, and I'm always a bit annoyed that they don't sparkle like my .25 or .50 CWT studs. If I recall correctly, when I bought them the listing had said the inclusions were white and blended in with the stone nicely, so I thought I'd be ok with them, but I definitely notice a difference compares to my .25 and .50 studs. Because of that, I'm concerned about the SI2-SI3 rating of these stones, but they do way they are eye clean so I wonder if maybe I'd be ok with them?

I'm also very open to other options as well. I'd love to keep it around a $1500-$1700 max budget. I have a lot of learning/re-learning to do about diamonds, so any guidance and advice is appreciated!

Call them to discuss what they see in the stones with their eyes and also to calibrate your definition to theirs of ‘eye clean’ and at what distance.
Any vendors in-house grading is subject to opinion, and much more so than a lab -IMO.
My own experience/opinion with this company:
they are great to speak to, but sometimes will not commit to an answer if that answer is somewhat different than listing. They will skirt the question.
very accommodating
good return policy
listing pictures are very forgiving regarding clarity of the lower grades.

If you have the vendor set them as well -
Imo
With what you’ve said about your past experiences
I’d gladly pay the freight to see them in person before proceeding to have them set, if I were you
Otherwise ask for clarification of return/refund if you don’t like them in person once set.
