Did you celebrate it with your children, your Mom, or you MIL? How did it go??

We had a joint party with Friends Saturday night at our golf club. It was a big party and tons of fun. DD took us to brunch yesterday. MIL and FIL came too. It was a wonderful time.

I had a ton of fun shopping for a MOB dress on video-chat yesterday!

She found a design she loves but the colour she liked best was a really light ivory, and she wasn''t comfortable wearing white to her daughter''s wedding so she''s chosen something different. I''m sending her the white as a surprise

it''s a simple dress, I imagine she''ll get plenty of use out of it!

How very sweet that you both got some quality time with your DD/ in law and Mom. We called all the mothers in DH''s side of family, sent flower to my mom who lives overseas, and had a fun night watching Avatar!

Mine was awesome. My husband was away so I spent the entire day/night with my daughters (19 and 22). I got a card and gift in the morning with an offer to have breakfast in bed (I declined that). We just spent the day together talking, watching videos and we ordered in Chinese. My fortune was awful "Emptiness is the mother of all things!". It was a lot of fun and it was nice to have both girls as a captive audience (and not fighting) for such a long time period.

Mine was epic. My husband went above and beyond. I''m so lucky to ''have'' him (and my little guy, too).

I didn''t get to spend it with my mom, who lives a thousand + miles away, but she''s visiting this weekend so we''ll have a belated mini-celebration.

I was actually at work this Mother''s Day. I work every Fri., Sat., and Sunday, so Sunday was no exception, but I did have a great time with my co-workers.

I brought dunkin donuts for breakfast and they surprised me by chipping in to buy me lunch from a nearby Thai restaurant. Then, we all had cheesecake and coffee during our 5 pm break.

Even though I didn''t get to spend it home with my kids, I could not have found a better group of people to work with on Mother''s Day.

When I got home (late at 8:30 pm), my kids gave me the gifts they made in school and everyone was already in PJs, teeth brushed, faces washed and hair combed.
That in and of itself was a treat as I usually come home and everyone is still dressed up in street clothes waiting for me to put them out of their misery.

All in all, it was a good day and I can''t complain.

OH, and the laundry was done. Ours and the kids, Yay!
