Hey all,

I''ve been trying my darndest to take a photo of this diamond but it just doesn''t work. I''ve tried to use macro but it doesn''t come out as shiny or as fiery some of the pictures here. Is it because of the quality of the stone itself or lighting? Would appreciate some tips from the veterans here. Thanks in advance!

thks! that''s perfect. Did a search but stuff that came up were too technical or has something to do ASET or whatever that is :) Appreciate it.

My camera doesnt have a lens required for very close up shots, although the macro setting helps. One way I''ve gotten around that is by using a magnifying glass between the object and the camera.

I think it works pretty well....
