How to source a good quality oval?

I went deep down the rabbit hole on getting the best sparkle HCA score, crown/pavilion angle combo etc for my original engagement ring round brilliant but now I’m at a loss at how to source a equally fantastic lab oval.

I’m seeing lab ovals in the 2.5-3.5 range like below $1000 on b2c and then the super ideal rated ones on white flash for like $3500 and I can’t quite figure out if it’s worth it to just give up and get a white flash ideal because otherwise there’s seemingly no way to tell the cut quality on ovals?? Send help! How can I get the best deal on a super ideal lab oval.

These two are listed in the $1450-1650, GIA graded, and have high potential for great optics...but you'd need to test drive it in your everyday environments to make sure it/they exhibits the optical performance that you desire.

ASET is doubtful from most online sellers.
If you are stateside, then you can utilize any seller return policies so that you can assess/inspect for a few days or couple weeks, depending on the seller's return window.
