In Show Me the Ring, I love the pics of rings laying on top of a flower. How do you do this...do you photograph it indoors or outdoors? Are these flowers from a florist or are they still planted? Are there specific color flowers that you think look best?

my e-ring should be arriving this week and I want to be prepared for pictures (just got my 10x loupe). thanks!

Take them anywhere you want! We love pics! We have even seen pics on top of spices! (I think it was crushed red pepper!) - some do them with artificial flowers, some with planted, some with picked flowers - when you get your ring just play with it!

I was wondering the same thing.

My ering will be completed sometime this week as well and as hard as I''ve tried (using my digital macro setting on my 7.1 digital camera), I still can''t get that crystal clear zoomed in shot. I taken hundreds - with rings that I have at home and I can''t get it to come out the way you PSers have somehow acheived.

=( Help!?!? IS the loupe something that will help?

Where the heck do I buy a loupe?

Kiwi: i''ve read on here that a loupe is very helpful when taking pictures. I bought the Belomo 10x loupe off ebay for about $13. It has excellent reviews from many websites. Here is a description of it: Belomo Loupe

Just wanted to add, be careful what''s under the flowers if they''re growing outside, i.e. rocks, gravel, in case the ring falls. Don''t want scratches.
