How do you correctly measure a Diamond to get the carat weight? Thank you .

With a scale? Surely there's more to this question. You're trying to estimate weight on a mounted diamond?

Hi thank you for the reply , yes I just wanted to know how exactly they are measured I have a small stone in a setting and I can’t for the life of me remember the exact size !

I also have two measurements that I would like the carat size on if you could do that without any trouble of course if you don’t mind first measurement is 8.67 x 8.90 x5.57 depth 63.3 % second one is 8.78 x 8.89 x 5.57 depth 63.1%
