Should I be worried about the little bit of white I see? This was a really good value diamond I found for $2100
As Strm says, finely cut diamonds may have small, symmetrical patterns (often trangular) of white along the girdle, and outside of the center of the diamond. These small areas of ‘contrast leakage’ are perfectly acceptable.Date: 10/24/2005 9:26:49 PM

The white in the right places like that one is a good thing it gives the diamond contrast.
I prefere them to the ones cut for all red in the IS.
