How terrible is this cut?

Hi,
I''ve been reading pricescope for a couple of months and have learned so much from all of you. Thanks! Below is a diamond that I currently have and purchased knowing nothing(clearly). The table is insanely big, but just how bad is the cut? I appreciate your thoughts.

Everyone is going to probably tell you the same thing that the info you posted is not enough to tell them much about the cut. They woould rather more info and/or pics of the rock via an idealscope.

the cut is probably average at best.

yeah I was gonna say that but did not have the courage. That big table will likely create a shallow crown angle and the pav angle would really stretch to compensate! Also for a round a better symmetry than a good is a must IMHO.

Well, almost every table & depth combination allows for some set of proportions that makes it look nice.

Some likely proportions are pretty bad - you get a black hole in the middle (nail head).

The nicest I can imagine fitting the numbers is a sort of mirror: a diamond that looks gassy unless there is some light source directed at it. Probably bright, but with no glitter (scintillation). Not everyone thinks this is a total disaster - if you look deep and wide enough you'd fins some unusual designer cuts that seek just this effect. Does your stone look anything like the ring below in any light?

In-between, it is rather easy to get some pretty glaring fish eye.

I like to guess this, but there is no way to know without some more detail about this particular diamond...

And here's the picture of a reflector cut as I suspect your diamond might be. The pictures were taken with the diamonds in the shade looking 'dark'.

The table is quite large and your sym and polish are good and good, which is not great either. Do you already own this stone? Or is this one you are considering purchasing?

Well if you like it thats all that matters.
My rocks not perfect but I like it-there are no agreed upon standards for it like rounds though. With rounds an excellent cut is easier to find. I am using the pricescope cut search features to find round studs and it is great! Does most the work for you!

No reason to call it 'terrible' off the bat. If you like it, than there is really no reason at all.

What''s most important is whether or not you like it. I have a stone that is not ideally cut, but I really like the way it looks. It''s beautiful and sparkly. No table of measurements can quatify that for me.
