How often does your dog "do his/her business"?

My pup is pretty regular in only going once a day, during a walk, and not any time that she's just out in our back yard. If the walk is really long sometimes she'll go twice, or if we take her on multiple long walks, sometimes she'll go twice, but not usually.

We've had her for 5 years and just moved to a house for the first time, so she was used to only being able to go while on walks, and it seems to have carried over. I hope this trend continues, because it's much easier to clean up after her once a day while we're walking than if she goes whenever and where-ever she feels like it when she's outside in the yard.

AM and PM after we feed him. He is not free fed, gets fed 2x per day.

We take her for three walks per day that are at least a mile long each. I take her first thing when I wake up in the morning, then around 5 or 5:30, and then DH takes her out late at night around 10 or 11. She usually poops on our morning walk and the 5 PM walk. She pees a bit on all of the walks, but it's usually only one real pee and then a bunch of little tinkles, if that makes sense.

She will occasionally go in our backyard while we playing fetch or sitting outside with her, but that's rare. We don't want her using the backyard as a toilet, so we trained her to go on walks only.

We feed her raw, so she doesn't need to drink as much water as a dog that eats kibble. That affects her pee habits, I'm sure.

He poops on average twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Sometimes if we go to the dog park or long walks on the weekends he'll go earlier but then won't go later. I think a lot of that is being stimulated by the scent of other dogs and the activity. He has a huge bladder though and will do a long pee and then mark 10-15 times when we're on walks. Sometimes I don't know where he stores it all!

Average of twice a day.

Frank, my chi mix, will only poop on one of his twice daily walks. He usually goes 1/1 but sometimes its 2/1 or 1/2. Harlow, my dobe, will not go poo on a walk, shes a back yard pooper, and she goes 2-3 times a day. When its her turn for a walk, she just likes to go for the sake of walking. However, Harlow does have a genetic problem with her kidneys/bladder, so she has special needs, and must be let out to pee every 20-30 minutes.

Bosun goes 2x per day, Byron usually only goes once. Neither go in the morning, then usually Bo goes when the dog walker takes them both to the park, but Byron doesn't. She always puts this in her daily notes (?). Then both go at night. Bo only recently switched to 2x per day--he used to go 3x per day.

Most of the time twice, sometimes only once.

She ALWAYS "goes" on our nightly walks. SOMETIMES she needs to "go" in the early afternoon when I get home from work (I work early mornings.)

Usually 2 times a day (1 st thing in the am and then around 6pm) sometimes 3 times a day, like today. It used to be 4 to 5 times a day, because we used to walk a lot when he was a pup.

On average, 2 number 2's a day and multiple pees (2-3) per outing. I think he likes to tinkle here and there rather than all in one spot. We walk him 4x a day.

3 walks per day

I guess I'm the odd one, which is normal, but I train the dogs not to "go" on their walks. I prefer that they use the yard. We have a large unusable area in our backyard and no young kids, so this works for us. We used to do it the other way around when the kids were young. When we were showing dogs, they actually went where and when they were commanded to, on leash. Man, things have gotten slack on my end!
