I seem to need to wear a belt with all my jeans, jean shorts, or jean capris. So I wear belts a lot and I usually just alternate between a brown one and a black one. And since I don''t change size often, I use the same belt hole. So after a while the hole wears out and eventually rips.

I think I end up buying new belts about once every year. Is this abnormally high, or am I the only weirdo who wears belts this much and only alternates between two?

I rarely wear belts! If I''m not tucking in my shirt I don''t like how the buckle makes a bump right on my tummy (I certainly don''t need to draw more attention there!).

DH wears belts every day and he''s had one of them since we started going out 4 years ago (though he''s bought one or two more in addition). So he doesn''t seem to wear them out that often even though he wears the same brown one every single day.

I wear a belt everytime I wear jeans (3-4x/week) and I have to buy a new one about every year to year and a half... I use a brown and black one too but I wear the black WAY more than the brown so it is replaced more frequently.

I''m the same, except I wear the brown more. I''d say about every year for the brown, and every 2 years for the black.

I NEVER wear belts - don''t like the tummy bump either - they never seem to sit right on me

every 8 to 10 years for the one I wear everyday and 20? for my dress belt.
I am shopping for a new belt and finding a good one these days is hard.
Only buy single layer belts and they will last a lot longer.

I seem to wear them into being disreputable every 3 years or so, and I wear mine more or less every day. I keep the old ones around to wear on comfortable days, but ....

... I should know better.

I very rarely wear belts. In fact, I think the one I have is from high school.

If you "need" to wear a belt with jeans etc. -- might your pants not be fitting you right? There are lots of different cuts of jeans these days. Maybe some experimentation is in order!

I haven''t worn a belt w/pants in a loooonnngggg time. And I have a much smaller waist than hips/butt -- things just fit much better these days & have stretch.

ditto EB...i don't even know if i HAVE a belt...oh wait maybe one of those big popular ones from last year you put over a long flowing top kinda thing? but a pants belt, nope. everything i have is fitted so there's nothing to hold up.

hub however loves belts, he said he feels undressed without one. he has 3-4 that he wears out maybe every 4 years or so? he left one of his fave belts (woven leather) in spain this last summer and he was so disappointed. i was secretly happy, so that i had a reason to replace it with a more updated style, and then he came home and BOUGHT A NEW ONE within a day, yep.

I have a almost a 1:1 waist to hip ratio, which means I have to wear a belt pretty much whenever I wear pants.

I''m shaped like a lollipop or an egg on sticks or something. No need for belts. I might have one though, somewhere. It is braided leather so there are no holes per se, nothing to wear out.

I have a braided leather belt that I wear relatively often, but never really on pants. I like to belt cardigans and dresses and tunics. The best thing about this belt? It has been worn since 1985 or so when my mom bought it, and no sign of it wearing out yet. It''s just ridiculously soft and smooshy now.

I l.o.v.e belts. I think I have about 20 of them :) (could be more).
