How often do you change your sheets?

We change ours weekly.
I love fresh sheets and I'd prefer daily but . . . Heck! . . . Too much laundry.

Weekly here as well.

Every two weeks here, though weekly would be ideal.

Fridays and Mondays...

I love more frequently and would do so in a heartbeat, but jeeze... The laundry...!

I''m too lazy.

2 times a week.

Every 2 weeks? We don't have any pets sleeping in the bed, which helps.

Previously once a week, but when I switched the white sheets, I have them switched twice. I like bedding, so I try to get as many sets as I can.

Once a week. We both love fresh sheets - and have about three sets - but that is about as frequently as I want to be wrestling with the mattress and pillows to remove the bedding and put bedding back on. We have like.....5-6 full-sized pillows on our bed (I swear...DH's preference...I would be happy with just 2!) so it is a pain in the butt. Even though we generally do it together, I still despite putting pillowcases back on pillows...ha.

I''d love to change sheets weekly but we often wait 2 weeks.

We have a king sized bed and I think we own one flannel set of sheets, and then 3 sets of cotton sheets. For our double bed that''s in our guest room, we have maybe three sets of sheets. We hardly use that bed though.

Ideally, I would like one a week (or more often). I would say it probably happens about once every 2 weeks. My husband is the one who deals with changing the sheets (and the laundry), so I don't complain. I absolutely hate putting the fitted sheet on the bed, and it's even more difficult because we have a super thick mattress.

Our dogs go on the bed everyday, but they sleep elsewhere at night.

ETA: Also, we own 2 sets of sheets for our bed (it's rrreally tough to find nice-feeling, sensibly priced sheets when you need the 18" pockets), but my husband only uses 1 set. He just keeps washing the same set and putting it back on the bed. He prefers the color

I would love to buy more sets (when I see them), but I always put them down because I know he won't use them!

Twice a week.

I strive for at least once a week but during the school year I'm often too busy to do any better than every 10 days or so. I once read an article about the Duchess of Windsor (Wallis Simpson) that said she had her linen sheets changed daily. After the sheet was freshly pressed, 4 maids would each hold one corner and bring it to the bed together, so that there would never be wrinkle folds. I remember thinking at the time, "now that's rich!"

I'd love to have freshly-pressed sheets daily - oh and 1000-thread count Egyptian cotton please.

What's THAT like?

That''s lovely. I used to have that when I lived in a city with laundries that collect and deliver. Now that I live in the back of beyond it''s DIY, so twice a week max.

Winds up being once every 2-3 days. We do a ton of laundry.

Every 2 weeks. We only get in bed freshly showered, so it doesn''t need to be too frequent.

Are you serious? How do you find the time?!!

We wash ours once every 2 weeks. I just don''t have the time to do it any more frequently, given that I only get home past 7pm. I do love clean, crisp and ironed sheets, but alas, no such luxury here.

Every week at least. During pollen season, I change the sheets on my DD''s bed every other day. A typical week for me is approx 30 loads of laundry.

I can only dream of having a maid to do all the laundry and put freshly pressed sheets on the bed!

Usually once every 2 weeks (no pets in bed with us and very little sweating). In the summer though we change them more often, like once a week. We have 2 sets that we love, very very soft, so I usually switch off. I like the Hotel Collection sheets (600 thread ct) from BB&B.

Once a week but I, too, would love to do it daily.

Once per week, but we only go to bed after we''ve showered and there are no pets around here...my cat has moved in with my mom !!!

Hah!

I''d be fine with once a week. FI is - nitpicky about bedsheets... he also launders them, since it''s his neurosis I think it''s a fair deal

In the summer, once a week. We also always take showers before bed. I would love to have new sheets daily. Nothing better than fresh, crisp sheets. YUM!

Honestly? Not often enough. We live in an apartment and have to pay for laundry, and seriously our bed still feels amazing if the sheets haven''t been washed weekly. I do love the feel of fresh sheets, I just value spending my time doing other things over laundry.

It doesn''t take very long. I can have my sheets washed, dry and back on the bed in an hour. An hour and a half if I put the setting on whitest whites.

There would be no way to get it done that fast since we live in an apartment - the washers are 5 floors down in the basement and it is $1 to wash and $1 to dry. I don''t actually know how long it takes since there''s no timer (I''d say 45 mins-1 hour for each) and of course there''s always a complication of the washers and/or dryers being full with other peoples'' laundry. It is such a hassle, that if I am going to cart everything down there and commit to 2-3+ hours, I''m doing it for more urgent laundry (e.g. CLOTHES =)

If we had washer/dryer in our unit, it might be a different story. But, I think washing sheets daily or close to daily is somewhat wasteful of both water and energy, unless you have allergies or some other issue.

once a.week for ours, once every 4-5 days for the baby

Weekly. But I haven''t ironed sheets since my mom gave the mangle to the church in 1971. Kudos to those who do.
