How often do I chagne ultrasonic solution

How long can I keep the water and solution in my Gemoro Ultrasonic? When using it I keep the lid off correct? What exactly does a mix of 40:1 mean? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

hi there, i don't have a gemoro US, i have a sharper image one. i change it every time but that is just me. i think if you do a search you'll see that it varies from person to person but seems that people either change it daily, every few days or weekly. i think depends on what is in your cleaning mixture and what your US is made of. i've seen that if you use ammonia with the sharper image then people tend to change it everytime because the ammonia does some funky things to the plastic.

sorry - that's probably not much help but maybe you can contact the place where you purchased the US? they may have some advice. or a jewelry store that has one might be able to help as well.
