How much is this Leon ring?

Hello everyone ...

Just wondering if anyone with experience buying from Leon would know about how much this setting would cost? I would send my stone (which I don't have yet) to Leon via an appraiser? Is that how it would work?

best to just call or email Leon for a quote but that setting will probably run around $1500....that is just a guess based on other estimates I've heard here.


you can send your stone through and appraiser if that makes you feel more comfortable, but many of the gals here just sent their stones directly to him.

Depends on the size of the stone and the cost of platinum but somewhere between $1500-1900 if I remember correctly when I had him quote me...

It might have been less though...I can''t remember.

Yes I do know I should do that. I know that it will be all based on size ect...I just thought maybe someone would have a ballpark figure. I am just loving his work. I am just wondering if I can afford his work is all. Thank-you

He is surprisingly reasonable. For example on one quote I got for a three stone ring he actually was $250 cheaper than WF.

On a side note. Has anyone ever tried to become a registered user to his site? I have tried several times to make a user name and password and it does not ever work for me. Thought maybe as a registered user I might have more access? Just curious...

OOOooooooo Angeline I hope that is the case with this ring. I have an idea in mind what I want to spend on my setting. I hope it''s with in my reach. The more i read about Leon''s craftsmanship. The more I think. If I decide to go with a Leon ring. I will need to have it done by him. Not a semi replica that is tweaked in some way to resemble it. Just would not be the same.

I registered a long time ago on his site and it still works for me. Don''t know if maybe it''s too full now and Leon hasn''t got around to expanding the databse to hold more people? just a thought. You don''t get any more acces, just somewhere to store favourites, which you can do on your own computer anyway.

HIs work is just gorgeous isn''t it?

oh also he said that the majority of his work is with smaller stones. He just showcases the whoppers on his site, as you would.

I am very happy to know that most of his work is on smaller stones. I was so thinking that all his work was big expensive stones. When I said I hope he sets stones smaller than 3 ct plus is because... yes ...a lot of what he shows on hi site is big honkin bling bling. But yeah........I love love looking at them!!!

However, In reference to my stone, it will be more like 2cts minus....as in 1.5 or less actually.
