Newbie here. Learning about diamonds as we speak.

Anyone have any idea how much I would pay (ballpark) for one of these?

I''ve just begun my ring hunt and this style looks nice.

I realize you pay a premium for Tiffany rings. I realize that the price could vary a ton depending on the stone quality.

But I''m just looking for a ballpark number on how much a 1 ct. ring in this style would cost if anyone has any idea. Also, assuming it is more than $10k, what size Tiffany ring in this style would I be able to get for about $10k?

Hello AStack, welcome to Pricescope!

A 1ct Novo will start at about ~$11/12k for I/VS2.

I would expect $10k to get you something around .75-.9ct depending on the color and clarity you select. Expect prices to jump when you hit G+/VVS+ stones.

Your best bet would be to call a Tiffany''s store and ask for quotes within your price and cut/color/clarity/carat weight.

Hope this helps!

I looked at a 1ct novo last summer when I was buying my lucida and it was roughly $14000, but I''m not sure what the specs on it were. Before I got my ring, I emailed them and quoted them my budget and they sent me back a list of specs in my price range so it''s definitely worth emailing them. It''s a beautiful ring.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to a store on Monday to see one with my own eyes. My friends who are helping me out think that Tiffany rings are a major waste of money. I kinda like the idea of buying a Tiffany ring though. I'm not even the one who would be wearing it! I don't plan on popping any questions until July so I have time.

I adore my ring and I''ve never regretted buying from Tiffanys (obviously he paid for it but he hasn''t regretted it either

). If you adore the ring and can afford it, it doesn''t matter what your friend thinks, he''s not the one that''ll be wearing it.

Are these prices at a Tiffany store negotiable or are they pretty much set in stone....bad pun intended? If I pay cash vs. credit, will they give me any deals?

Tiffany will not negotiate at all.

Tiffany prices are basically set in stone. There is enough demand for their high end product that they usually don''t deal...

Unfortunately as others have said, they won''t negotiate at all on the prices.

That''s what I figured. Well, at least it won''t be my crappy negotiating skills that''ll cause me to pay a ton of money!
