How much for custom made eternity?

Hi everyone, just wondering if you would like to make an "educated" guess on how much a custom made half eternity might cost? I have my feelers out for a quote as I realised I''m not in love with the Adwar eternity option I was about to take the plunge on. It''s SO hard not being able to try on first ... anyway, I have attached the link for your perusal. Diamond Ring Number 18 unfortunately I can''t copy the pic, but here''s the link. The designer of this ring is quite expensive over here so I need to look at the custom alternative! I want 7 x .05 = .35 which isn''t a lot really, but I wonder whether the cost of custom makes up 90% of the total price, or if it''s more like 50/50??? I would be looking at BDG or Whiteflash melee quality diamonds.

Also, does anyone know an australian based jeweller who is good and reasonable - I feel as though with all the amazing diamond rings being made as ER''s my little insignificant eternity is barely worth bothering with ...

hmm,,, I would guess about $1k (high end) as my eternity band by BGD with 18 stones x 5 was about $1750,,, so I might even be on the high side for my guess though if you were interested in wg. but its just my guess. I don''t see anything wrong about asking for a quote on that size. and your ring is not insignificant as you state, its a meaningful ring, and no matter the ctw size or cost, its still business and your pride and joy

thanks D&T, I finally decided to go with the Adwar anyhow as I''m sure it will be much better in the long run than the CAD version I see on their website. BGD are making it (supplying diamonds) so I''m sure it will be fantastic. I got some pretty reasonable pricing from Whiteflash as well, but I like the idea of supporting the newer/smaller business at BGD. Fingers crossed it works out okay, and I''m sure it will!
